• Acute coronary syndrome (ACS) including myocardial infarction
• Cardiac contusion or cardiac trauma
• Heart failure (HF)
• Myocarditis
• Pericarditis
• Status post heart transplantation
• Tachycardia

• Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
• Pulmonary embolism

• Chronic kidney disease (CKD)

• Cerebrovascular accident (CVA, stroke)

• Sepsis, including septic shock

• Amyloidosis with cardiac involvement
• Severe burn
• Critical illness
• Chemotherapy that is cardiotoxic
• Strenuous exercise
